VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES -                  COORDINATE A RIVER DAY EVENT

River Day celebrates the leadership of local citizens, organizations, and communities whose efforts are critical in protecting and enhancing the overall water quality of the Clinton River Watershed.  Events range from the uppermost parts of the watershed in Oakland County’s Springfield Township where the branches of southeast Michigan’s most populous river system begin; all the way to the mouth of the river in Macomb County’s Harrison Township where the Clinton River meets Lake St. Clair. We invite you to participate this year by hosting a walk, clean up, or celebration of the CLINTON RIVER.  For further information, contact Jill Hollowell at jill@crwc.org.

This year, River Day will once again be a part of Southeast Michigan's annual Water Week from June 7-14! Water Week is coordinated by the Southeast Michigan Partners for Clean Water to celebrate, learn about, and enhance our abundant water resources through recreation, education, and stewardship.
