Clinton River Review

Description:

Clinton River Review

October 1, 2010 at Oakland University

Each year, the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office teams up with Oakland University in Rochester Hills to sponsor the Clinton River Review.

The Clinton River Review is a free, half-day event where local officials, watershed stakeholders, students and the public learn about the progress and challenges associated with protecting and restoring the Clinton River and its watershed.

The event is divided into three main components. There is a technical portion where brief summaries of a few of our exciting programs are highlighted. That’s followed by the keynote address which is the core of the program. This year, we are excited to have famed author and water expert, Robert Glennon, as our keynote speaker.  He will be discussing his critically acclaimed book, Unquenchable – America’s Water Crisis and What to do About It, which talks about the irony and folly of conventional water use procedures.

The 2010 edition of the Clinton River Review will be held at , Friday, October 1, at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
