Macomb County

NORTH BRANCH OF THE CLINTON RIVER
Between Fisher Road in Bruce Township to the confluence with East Pond Creek at Powell and Romeo Roads.

EAST POND CREEK
The entire length of the creek from northern Addison Township to the confluence with the North Branch Clinton of the River at 32 Mile Road.

MAIN BRANCH
There is a great stretch between Loon and Cass Lakes in the western part of the watershed, as well as downstream from Pontiac all the way to the county line at Yates Park. Check out the Parks page for public access points.

INDEPENDENCE OAKS COUNTY PARK
Several fishing spots are located along the headwaters of the Clinton River and in Crooked Lake.

INLAND LAKES
There are over 400 inland lakes in Oakland County, many of which provide excellent lake fishing opportunities.

RIVER BENDS PARK, SHELBY TOWNSHIP
The park entrance is off of 22 Mile Road between Ryan and Shelby roads in Shelby Township. There is a fishing access site on the Clinton River a short distance further south on Ryan Road.

MAIN BRANCH
From Dequindre Road to the mouth of the Clinton River. Migratory fish move from Lake St. Clair upstream to Yates Mill Dam. Some steelhead can be seen jumping the dam in spring.

SPILLWAY
East of I-94 to Lake St. Clair.
