Mary has been a volunteer with the CRWC for over 10 years. She first became involved because of her passion of writing through the River of Words. She has been on the CRWC Finance Committee since 2006. She volunteers hundreds of hours for us and went above and beyond in 2009 in helping us with our audit and tax assessment issues. We are grateful to Mary‟s dedication to us and to her profession. She has over 20 years of tax, accounting and consulting experience with an expertise in non-profit and governmental regulatory audits, tax and consulting, acquisitions, multi-state nexus and international issues. She is currently employed as a Director for Godfrey Hammel, Danneels & Company, P.C. We are pleased to present to Mary our 2009 CRWC Jerry Carvey Volunteer of the Year Award.
