WHAT VOLUNTEERS ARE SAYING
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We have volunteer opportunities for all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels with activities ranging from:
Cleanups: Participate in on-land garbage collecting like and paddling down rivers for water trail cleanups as part of the Keeping-It-Clean program.
Native Species: In your garden or with CRWC, you can help plant native flowers and plants.
Invasive Species: You can help improve the watershed's health by identifying and removing invasive plant species.
Water Quality Monitoring: Monitoring the temperature and water quality and identifying aquatic insects to asses oxygen levels, acidity, and pollution in rivers and streams through Adopt-A-Stream.
Other Opportunities: There are other ways to get involved, like becoming a Stream Leaders mentor, participating in RiverSafe LakeSafe, and more! CRWC’s event calendar and social media pages are updated regularly. The best way to stay current on all of CRWC’s activities is to join our email list.
VOLUNTEER LIABILITY WAIVER
Everyone volunteering with CRWC must complete a liability waiver, which is available electronically below. Liability waivers only need to be completed once per person per calendar year.
