LYDIA NICHOLAS
Lydia started at CRWC in the spring of 2023. They earned an Associate of Science at St. Clair County Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Michigan Technological University.
Lydia has a deep connection to the outdoors. Prior to their arrival at CRWC, Lydia worked at Friends of the St. Clair River where they managed the Thumb Coast Storm Drain Art Project, where stormwater awareness was promoted through art initiatives across St. Clair County.
As the Environmental Scientist, Lydia assists in data collection and analysis in the field, works closely with volunteers and communities within the watershed, and leads CRWC’s Weekly Clean Program.
