Weekly Clean
The Clinton River Watershed Council is committed to the stewardship of our local green spaces, waterways, and environment. Weekly Clean is a program designed to provide volunteers with regular opportunities to help remove trash and debris from the watershed. By doing so, we prevent pollutants from entering our rivers and streams, ensuring the cleanliness of our waterways and preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings.
Weekly Clean takes place every Wednesday during the field season from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Weekly Clean focuses on different areas within the watershed, changing locations every week.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Weekly Cleans are open to individuals of all ages and skill levels. No registration or prior experience is required. Simply show up at the cleanup location and join us in making a positive impact on our local environment.
Volunteers are equipped with grabbers, trash bags, and work gloves—all provided by the Clinton River Watershed Council. These tools help ensure a safe and effective cleanup of both large and small debris from the watershed.
No registration is required unless a large group plans to attend.
In 2023, the dedication of more than 820 CRWC volunteers has resulted in the removal of an impressive 9,268+ pounds of trash from our local parks and green spaces as part of the Keeping-It-Clean program.
